KCG College of Technology, established in 1998, is a premier engineering institution located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was founded by the Hindustan Group of Institutions with the vision of offering quality education and fostering innovation in the fields of science and technology. Named in honor of Dr. K.C.G. Verghese, a visionary educationist, the college aims to create future leaders and entrepreneurs. 2. Admission Process

Eligibility Criteria:

  • B.E./B.Tech:
    Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is primarily through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), based on merit in the qualifying examination.
  • M.E./M.Tech:
    Candidates must hold a relevant undergraduate degree in Engineering or Technology. Admission is based on performance in the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) or GATE scores.

Application Process:

  • The admission process for B.E./B.Tech is through the centralized TNEA counseling.
  • For M.E./M.Tech programs, students must apply through the Anna University portal based on their TANCET or GATE scores.
