UG Admission: Selection for UG courses is on the basis of marks scored in the last qualifying exam.

PG Admission: Selection for M.A. and M.Com program is done on the basis of marks scored in graduation. For MCA and M.Sc. admission, candidates need to qualify TANCET.

Research Admission: Selection for M.Phil. program is done on the basis of marks scored in graduation. For Ph.D. program candidates need to qualify UGC-NET/ GATE/ JRF/ CSIR-NET

The following facilities are available for students at AACW:

Girls Hostel: A women’s hostel with 89 rooms with fully functional provisions for food, entertainment, etc. is available for students from outside the city

Library: The College has a common library that caters to the needs of the staff as well as the students. The library is equipped with around 46,000 books in different subjects. There is also a separate library for MCA students and individual libraries of all departments

Sports: There is a spacious college ground. Students are encouraged to participate in sports and competitions

Cafeteria: The campus mess provides hygienic, nutritious food at reasonable rates to the students. The canteen is a well-furnished AC canteen. There is also a coffee-day stall. There is also the facility of water coolers to make drinking water available to students on campus

Auditorium: The auditorium of AACW is centrally air-conditioned with a capacity of around 1300. There is also a conference hall, with a capacity of around 300 members, that acts as the venue for holding important meetings by staff or students
