Bachelor of Vocational Education (B.Voc) Admission Process

B.Voc admission is conducted following two methods. In most of the B.Voc colleges in India, admission is done based on the merit of the previous examination. Some colleges admit students by assessing their potential through an entrance exam. The admission of B.Voc starts in May and June. The notification comes out after the 12th board results.

Detailed below are both the admission processes followed for admission to Bachelor of Vocational Education.

Merit-Based Admission

Fort Merit-Based Admission process, candidates can consider the following points:

  • Candidates need to visit the official websites of the college that they have selected for B.Voc admission
  • Next, they should mandatorily check whether they meet the eligibility criteria for the B.Voc courses
  • Registration should be done and a login ID should be generated after which the application form needs to be filled up with all the required details.
  • The application form and the essential documents should be submitted along with the application fees as prescribed
  • After the successful completion of the application process, institutes will assess the candidatures of applicants and will publish a merit list. This list is prepared based on the academic records of the applicants.
  • The shortlisted candidates will then pay the fees to confirm that they have received the admission offer
  • On the submission of the admission fees and other admission formalities, the candidates will be enrolled in the course.

Entrance Exam-Based Admission

For entrance-based admission, candidates are required to register for the entrance exam on the official website of the institutes. An application amount must be submitted during this time. The entire process will be done either online/offline and as prescribed.

On the successful completion of the registration, the candidates will appear in the entrance test and the institute will set a cutoff mark. This cut-off mark is considered the sole deciding factor for admission.

The candidates who secure the cut-off marks are selected and called to the counselling session. At this stage, after the document verification and seat allocation, candidates confirm their admission through fee submission.
