BA Hons Philosophy is an undergraduate Philosophy course. The duration of this course is 3 years which is divided into six semesters. Candidates who have passed H.S.C. examination (12th) or Intermediate examination in any stream from a recognized board are eligible for this course. Some colleges/ universities have merit-list for this course eligibility. Eligible candidates can apply for this course through online/offline in respective college websites or admission office.

The minimum eligibility for Bachelor of Arts Hons in Philosophy is:
Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education or Pre-University Examination of an Indian University or Intermediate Examination or Candidates with 55% of marks in three subjects including Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics and passing in the compulsory subject English (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
