Academic Departments and Programs

Admission Process 2024

SRCC admissions are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for UG and PG courses, except for the GBO diploma, which has its own entrance exam. The application process includes:

  1. Entrance Exam: CUET scores are required for UG and PG courses.
  2. DU CSAS Registration: Candidates must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and select their courses and preferred colleges.
  3. Seat Allotment: Based on CUET scores, candidate category, and seat availability, admissions are conducted in multiple rounds.
  4. Final Admission: Upon seat allotment, candidates complete the admission process with document verification and fee payment on the CSAS portal.

Courses and Fees

SRCC provides a selective range of courses:

  • B.A. (Hons.) in Economics: 3 years; requires 45% in 10+2 and CUET UG.
  • B.Com (Hons.): 3 years; requires 45% in 10+2 and CUET UG.
  • M.A. in Economics: 2 years; requires graduation in a related field and CUET PG.
  • M.Com: 2 years; graduation in a related field and CUET PG.
  • PG Diploma in Global Business Operations: 2 years; admission through an SRCC entrance exam followed by group discussion and interview.

Scholarships at SRCC

SRCC provides numerous scholarships to support meritorious and financially disadvantaged students:

  • Students Union Scholarship: Awarded to second-year students in B.A. (Hons.) Economics and B.Com (Hons.) based on need and merit.
  • Alumni Association Scholarship: For first-year B.A. (Hons.) Economics and B.Com (Hons.) students; continued with 60% minimum aggregate in subsequent semesters.
  • Sultan Chand Trust Scholarship: For second- and third-year B.Com (Hons.) students who rank at the top.
  • Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship: For top students in B.Com (Hons.) and B.A. (Hons.) Economics who meet academic and interview criteria.

Additional scholarships include the MC Shukla, TS Grewal, Kanwar Lal Memorial, and KPMG scholarships, as well as scholarships for reserved categories and financial assistance funds.
