School of Humanities and Social Science is an integral part of Jain Deemed-to-be-University’s academic structure, comprising 14 centres and schools. The school offers six courses in the fields of Languages, Psychology, Performing Arts, Sociology, Journalism and Mass Communication. These courses offer students a platform for academic excellence with subjects that are constructed to provide equal emphasis on theoretical and practical exposure. Candidates, planning to enrol themselves to UG/ PG programmes in any of regular or distance learning mode, must register themselves through the online admission portal of Jain Deemed-to-be University. Applicants have to fill the application form with all requisite documents and application forms to get themselves registered. If the application is incomplete or incorrect, Jain Deemed-to-be University has all the right to reject it. Also, applicants are advised to keep a photocopy of the printed application form, for further references.

• To be eligible for UG courses, candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board
• Candidates need to pass a graduation degree from recognised institute/ university to apply for PG admission
• The admission to eligible candidates is granted based on their performance in Jain Entrance Test (JET)

The school offers six courses at UG and PG level. At UG level, the BA programme offered at School of Humanities and Social Science, Jain Deemed-to-be-University is divided into three categories, including General, Honours and Professional. All the three BA courses are of three-year duration, comprising six semesters. At the PG level, the school offers two courses, including MA and MPA for a duration of two years. The school also offers a three-year PG Diploma programme in three specialisations. School of Humanities and Social Science, Jain Deemed-to-be University Scholarships

School of Humanities and Social Science, Jain Deemed-to-be University offers scholarships that are only valid for Indian students. To apply, candidates need to obtain and fill the scholarship application form from the admissions office of deemed-to-be-University and submit it to the same office within the deadline. Selected students will receive a scholarship offer letter along with a scholarship acceptance form, which they need to accept or decline within a stipulated time-frame. Failure to do so will make the scholarship offer invalid.
