St Francis College for Women, Hyderabad is a Catholic minority institute set up in 1959 with the aim of educating women. It is an autonomous college of Osmania University and has been accredited with 5 stars by the NAAC. St Francis College for Women Admission

The selection of candidates for UG Courses excluding BMS is entirely merit-based and spot admission system.   Admission to the BMS program is done based on merit in the qualifying examination and also marks in the written test conducted by the college.

The selection of candidates for PG courses is done based on their merit in Graduation and through spot admission procedure by calculating their performance in the interview round.

St Francis College for Women Placements

There is an official placement and training cell. Students are encouraged to fill the form and register themselves for placement assistance. There is also a separate process for students looking for internships. For UG programs, placements are conducted in the 6th or final semester and it includes a written test with a personal interview.

Various MNCs and corporates are known to hire from here. Companies like Amazon, IBM, Deloitte, Google, ADP, Dell, Franklin Templeton, Cognizant IT, and Infosys are among the list of employers. Internship during the first year is mandatory for all students and assistance is provided by the college. There is also an online alumnae community to help students network and obtain opportunities.

The College offers various facilities to students like the following.

  • Library – The Library has a huge collection of 83,000 books and more than 100 journals/magazines, E-journals. A “Book Bank” is there consisting of core texts books, which are for deserving students
  • Fitness Centre – Nutritional counseling is available for students by a professional nutrition expert. Students can take part in Yoga sessions to increase strength and flexibility
  • Indoor Stadium – The College has a multi-purpose Indoor Stadium which spreads over an area of 12,000 sq. ft. Most of the university tournaments are held here.
  • Canteen: A well hygienic canteen is available where the students can spend their quality time with good food.
